No. You may keep your existing accounts at other financial institutions if you wish. You can link up to five external accounts to your FNBO Direct Accounts. You may transfer money between those external "linked accounts" and your FNBO Direct Accounts.
Deposits at FNBO Direct are FDIC insured to the maximum allowed by law. Funds in FNBO and FNBO Direct accounts will be summed for purposes of insurance coverage.
