No. You may keep your existing accounts at other financial institutions if you wish. You can link up to three external accounts to your FNBO Direct Online Savings Account. You may transfer money between those external "linked accounts" and your FNBO Direct Online Savings Account. The FNBO Direct Checking Account is a high-yield checkless checking account that allows you to earn interest on your everyday money while easily paying your bills.
Deposits at FNBO Direct are FDIC insured to the maximum allowed by law. Funds in FNBO and FNBO Direct accounts will be summed for purposes of insurance coverage. Select any of the products listed in the FNBO Direct suite; then just complete the application.

Interest payments to you may be subject to "backup withholding." Under the IRS's backup withholding rules, we must withhold a certain percentage on payments to you if:
- You have not given us your taxpayer identification number in the required manner.
- The IRS has notified us that the taxpayer identification number you provided is incorrect.
- The IRS has notified us to start withholding on interest and dividends because you had not reported all of your interest or dividend income in prior years; or
- You have not certified that you were not subject to backup withholding on interest and dividends.
