Answers

  • Is an ATM card available with the Online Savings Account and how do I obtain it?

Yes, an ATM card is available. During the application process, you will be offered an ATM card.

  • Where can I use the ATM card?

The ATM card can be used at any PLUS networks.

  • What fees are associated with the ATM card?

    a. When you use an ATM not owned by us, you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used (and you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a fund transfer).

    b. A Foreign Currency Conversion Fee will be assessed on all transactions made in currencies other than U.S. Dollars. The Foreign Currency Conversion Fee will be equal to 2% of the amount of each foreign transaction. If we assess a fee, it will appear on your statement as a Foreign Currency Conversion Fee.

Transactions Made in Foreign Currencies: Transactions made in currencies other than U.S. Dollars will be converted to U.S. Dollars under the then current regulations of VISA. Those regulations currently provide that the conversion rate may be either the wholesale market rate or government-mandated rate in effect the day VISA processes the transaction. The currency conversion rate in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the transaction date or the posting date.

  • What is a PIN?

Personal Identification Number. It is a security code that allows FNBO Direct to verify that a request to access your account is authorized by you.

  • How do I select a PIN?

To select a PIN for your ATM card, simply go to the “PIN Request” page on the “Services” tab under “Deposit Account Services.” You will be asked to select your PIN. When selecting a PIN, use something that is not easily guessed – avoid birthdays and addresses. Use different PINs for each account. Memorize your PIN. Do not write it on the back of your card or keep it with you. Since the PIN is for security purposes, you should not disclose it to anyone.

  • Can I change my PIN?

Yes. You can request a PIN change by going to the PIN Request section of the Account Detail page.

  • When will I receive my PIN?

You should receive your PIN immediately online.
